Our mission

Financial education should not be a privilege.

In the Philippines, thousands of students have the aptitude and drive to build careers in accounting and finance — but face one barrier: access. Tuition fees, training costs, and the gap between education and real employment stop talent before it can flourish.

Myerrs Impact Foundation was built to close that gap. Founded by Elena Sosa — valedictorian, 10-year accounting professional, and CFO — the Foundation puts real resources behind aspiring accountants who are ready to grow but need the opportunity to do it.

This is not charity. This is investment in the future of Philippine financial talent — and in the communities that talent will serve.

"The businesses we build should lift the communities we come from. Every invoice, every client, every month — contributing to something bigger than the balance sheet."

— Elena Sosa, Founder · MyerrsCFO Inc. & Myerrs Impact Foundation
🎓
Education is a right, not a reward
Every student who wants to study accountancy deserves the chance to — regardless of their financial situation. We exist to make that possible.
🔬
Real training, not theory
Our programs connect learning directly to practice. Scholars don't just study accounting — they learn the systems, tools, and real-world processes that professional firms actually use.
🌱
A self-sustaining ecosystem
The Foundation feeds directly into the MyerrsCFO pipeline. Top-performing scholars are offered employment — creating a cycle that sustains itself and grows stronger every year.
📊
CFO-level accountability
We track what we fund. Revenue percentage, scholars supported, training hours delivered — published transparently, because accountability is what we teach and what we practice.
Why we exist

Elena saw the problem from the inside.

After a decade working in accounting — including as a Senior Bookkeeper inside a professional firm — Elena understood three structural problems that the Foundation was built to fix.

Talent without access

Brilliant students across the Philippines want to study accountancy — but tuition, review fees, and cost of living make it impossible without support. The talent is there. The access isn't.

📚
Training without reality

Traditional accounting education teaches theory. It doesn't teach QuickBooks Online, Link My Books, eCommerce COGS, or real-world bookkeeping systems. Graduates enter the workforce underprepared for what firms actually need.

🚪
Education without opportunity

Even graduates who complete their studies often can't find their first role. There's no bridge between the classroom and employment. The Foundation builds that bridge — and walks scholars across it.

Our programs

Three programs. One mission.

Each program is designed to meet scholars where they are — and take them further than they could go alone.

🎓
Program 01
01
Financial assistance + mentorship

Myerrs Scholars Program

For students who can't afford accountancy education — but have everything it takes.

The Myerrs Scholars Program provides direct financial assistance to qualified students pursuing accountancy, bookkeeping, or financial management education in the Philippines. This isn't a loan. It's a scholarship — funded by MyerrsCFO's operating revenue, not donations.

Every scholar is paired with a mentor from the MyerrsCFO team — including Elena herself — who provides guidance throughout their studies and into their early career.

  • Financial assistance for tuition, review materials, and board exam fees
  • Ongoing mentorship from a practicing accounting professional
  • Exposure to real bookkeeping systems and tools during studies
  • Priority consideration for the Work-to-Learn Program upon graduation
  • Annual cohort — applications reviewed every enrollment period
Who can apply
Filipino students enrolled in or aspiring to study Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) or related financial courses who demonstrate financial need and a genuine commitment to building a career in accounting.

Free practical training

Myerrs Training Academy

Real bookkeeping skills — taught by a team that does this every day for international clients.

The Myerrs Training Academy delivers free, practical bookkeeping and accounting training to students, aspiring virtual assistants, and career shifters who want to build a real skill set — not just a certificate.

Training is built on the same SOP systems MyerrsCFO uses with actual US, UK, and Canadian clients. Participants learn what the market actually needs, not just what the syllabus covers.

  • Free structured training on QuickBooks Online, bookkeeping fundamentals, and real-world SOPs
  • eCommerce bookkeeping track — Amazon, Shopify, COGS, multi-channel
  • Virtual bookkeeping skills for students wanting to work internationally
  • Taught by the MyerrsCFO team using real client scenarios
  • Certificate of completion — recognized by MyerrsCFO and partner firms
Who can apply
Open to students, career shifters, and aspiring VAs in the Philippines. No prior experience required — just commitment, curiosity, and the drive to build a real skill.

From education to employment

Work-to-Learn Program

The bridge between training and a real career — inside a real firm serving real international clients.

The Work-to-Learn Program is the final step in the Foundation's ecosystem. Top-performing graduates from the Myerrs Training Academy and Scholars Program are offered internship and employment pathways within MyerrsCFO Inc. itself.

This is where the Foundation and the firm connect — creating a self-sustaining cycle where investment in education flows directly into trained, committed, long-term team members who already know the system, the culture, and the standard.

  • Supervised internship within the MyerrsCFO in-house team
  • Real client work — under the guidance of a Senior Bookkeeper
  • Path to full employment for top performers
  • Fair compensation from day one — this is not free labor
  • Continuation of professional development through the firm's wellness and training programs
Who qualifies
Graduates of the Myerrs Training Academy or Scholars Program who have demonstrated consistent performance, professional attitude, and readiness for real client work. Selected by Elena and the senior team.

A message from Elena.

"I know what it feels like to work harder than everyone in the room and still wonder if the door will open. I was lucky — I had people who believed in me, and I had the drive to turn that belief into something real."

"But I also watched people around me — equally talented, equally driven — who didn't get that same chance. Not because they weren't good enough. Because the opportunity simply never came."

"Myerrs Impact Foundation exists so that never has to be the reason again. If you have the talent and the heart for this work — we want to be the door."

Common questions

Questions about the Foundation.

Is the Myerrs Scholars Program really free?

Yes — completely free to scholars. There is no tuition charged, no loan, and no obligation beyond your commitment to the program. The Foundation is funded by 5% of MyerrsCFO Inc.'s revenue, not by scholar fees.

Do I need to already be studying to apply?

No. The Myerrs Training Academy is open to students and non-students alike — including career shifters and aspiring virtual assistants who want to learn bookkeeping from scratch. The Scholars Program is for those pursuing formal accountancy education.

Is the Work-to-Learn Program paid?

Yes. All participants in the Work-to-Learn Program are fairly compensated from day one. This is not an unpaid internship. We believe in paying people for real work — that's the standard we hold ourselves to at MyerrsCFO, and it extends to the Foundation.

Can international students apply?

Currently, the Foundation programs are focused on students and aspiring professionals in the Philippines. As the Foundation grows, we may expand — but our roots and our first commitment are to the community we come from.

How does the Foundation receive funding?

The Foundation is funded by 5% of MyerrsCFO Inc.'s monthly operating revenue — automatically, on every engagement. It is not reliant on donations or grants. As the business grows, the Foundation grows. That's the design.

How do I know my partnership contribution is being used well?

We publish impact reporting — scholars supported, training hours delivered, employment placements made. As a CFO-founded organization, accountability and transparency are non-negotiable. Partners receive direct reporting on what their contribution achieved.
